God love stars who blog, so we bloggers can blog about their blogging. Like this one fromTaylor Swift on her MySpace page, that confirms that she is indeed going to be the musical guest on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live. That makes Swift, 19, the youngest country star to ever appear as a musical guest on the show in its 32-year run. Swift says that this is something “I’ve been dreaming about and hoping for and wishing for years.” That also happens to be her mother’s birthday, and I’m sure the two Swift ladies will have a fabulous time in New York City. The show’s host for the night will be Neil Patrick Harris, who can probably relate to Swift. After all, he played a teen working in a grown-up’s world as Doogie Howser, M.D., back in the early 90s. He was only 16 when that show debuted. So the two of them should get along just fine.
